i wouldn't mind getting a new car but this car will still be okay after it's fixed...gotta get the money's worth!
don't have a pic of the rock, i left it on the side of the road, i know where i left it though so i might go back for it and then blow it up er something
it wasn't a dirt road...regular road at night but there are these hills on the side of the road and since it hasn't rained in SD forever, 2 days of constant rain just washed down all these rocks...
i was going about 35-40 (limit 60)...and that road gets semi-flooded when it rains and just my luck that rock was sitting in the puddle, iceberg effect...damnit! the next day i drove by there and the puddles were gone and you could see all these rocks in the road...
well insurance gave 2,800 to fix it...the frame isn't as bad as it looks they are just going to fix the frame and replace the AC and a bunch of the hoses and crap that broke, it's mainly the fixing the ac that is making it cost so much...just good that no damage to the engine, well some dings on the header but that's it, the frame and the ac took it all
just bad luck + a little good luck...better to hit a rock, then hit a rock + hit some car next to you...
