Okay this will explain it.
I tell customers this all the time. You can kill a speaker by under powering same as over powering.

Meaning that if your speakers say 120 watts. and your feeding it 55 watts the coils were made to honestly push around 100watts. The coil works harder and can actually burn itself out.

I know crazy.
