Your talking about LCD Projection but straight LCD only goes up to 42inch from what I've heard. And they are actually more expensive then plasma's, Just as thin, last 10,000 hours longer, better picture IMO (they are fixing the ghosting) a 36inch Sharp will run you about 6 grand so 42 will be very expensive. LCD projo is a good compromise though if you pick the right one. Best picture I've ever seen was off of a Toshiba LCD, it blew away the plasma's next to it.
