I was thinking LS/vtec but the cost of that build is expensive and still retains tired bottom end, or build bottom end while doing vtec head (crazy expensive!)?

Or pick up a b16a1 for about $1500 shipped as longblock no tranny and mate the old LS tranny up to it? Do I need to do any cable to hydraulic or vice versa BS to it? Does the motor bolt right in? Would you suggest all new aftermarket mounts? Stock shift linkage still work? Engine wiring harness? Im assuming a dohc vtec ecu is required for the vtec?Has anybody done this?

I would much rather do an OBD 1 GSR longblock but i cant find one for less than $2200! Ouch!

Is $1000 labor for removing old engine/tranny installing new engine tranny alot? My local import shop is charging this for engine swaps.
i would not do a b16 into a 94 and up integra. performance wise its gona run shitty.
