all older 4th gens had that recall, in fact it was for the f22 and h23, all had balancer shafts, my stepdad called me one day and was like i backed out of the driveway and saw oil turned off the cr, thier seal had come out in the driveway, they paid 700 bucks for the timing belt ect..i told him about the recall and honda reimbursed them for everything...since the sela leaks on the timing belt it has to be redone, i bought the bracket for 2 dollars to keep the seal from backing off, though ive yet to put it on..im lazy, and i never heard the JDM motor s having this problem..well see

It's a relief to hear you say that you havent heard of JDM engines giving this problem, cause i was about to get scared. Also i've never had one problem at all with my h22 burning any oil at all, btw I have a JDM engine.
