That makes them easier for the friction created by the brakes to stop.
Big brake kits aren't a waste of money. Anything that could potentially shorten your stopping distance or improve the modulation of your braking isn't wasted money. I would imagine with the 19 inch wheels and added weight of that vehicle the stock brakes are only slightly over worked.

......umm, no. lighter wheels = less rotational mass = better handling & better stopping, regardless of the diameter of the rim. centrifugal force doesnt come into effect here as much. when you are stopping or turning, weight matters much more than the size of the rim. and its easier to accelerate lighter rims too (duh).
BBK's are a waste of money if you have a STREET CAR. also to the point that if you do not track the car, you do not need BBK. it is a fact. and guess what, BBK's can POTENTIALLY stop your car by like 4 or 5 feet shorter from 60 mph than your stock setup. BBK's are not for shorter stopping, they are for BRAKE FADE RESISTANCE. thats why racing brake pads do not come into effect until you heat them up after several practice laps. another thing, brakes do not stop the car, the tires do. remember that.
