if you put big boost on the D to reach 230, then changing internals is a must, requiring more $. might as well get a B. fuck if you really wanna save money and reach your goal you could find a used 2003 mustang or so for like 10 grand(or around same price as B swap+turbo/D series+big ass turbo+ints) and have 260 hp, and your mods on that will yield even better results.

besides that id say just get teh B swap, or if you can afford it, K swap, then turbo. anything above like 12 psi on the D and you will need different ints..i'd just get the B, cause well, theyre better.
