you'll make more torque out of the boosted D-series if it's a 1.6 vtec motor. It has a longer stroke than the B16. The only problem with boosting a D is lifting the head, even with arp head studs, they tend to lift at higher boost levels.

If you have the money invest it into a B and boost it, if not boost the D, you won't be disapointed with either when you're done. You don't need a built motor to reach 230 if you have a good fuel set up and a good sytem to control it along with timing. ie: hondata, neptune, aem ems, crome, uberdata

k-series right now is way to expensive for teh swap let alone turboing it afterwards. but if money is no option go for it, i'd rather build a B-series w/ big boost than run a K.
