The dry weight of the R1 is 22 lbs. more than the 750 but the R1 is a light full liter beast!

Yes the R1 MSRP is 11599, but the dealer, most dealers have hard time moving liter bikes, as not too many people buy them...so with the supply and demand into mind, the 750 will sell a lot better than an R1, so the dealer agreed to drop it to 9999 for me...i dont know where you get dry weight is 22 lbs more than a 750...it's more like 60...dry weight of 750 is 360 lbs R1 is 420...pick up the latest issue of Sport Rider....they weighed all the liter bikes, the R1 was one of the heaviest, at 451lbs wet..

I'm still deciding, but chances are i'm gonna go with the 750...it's light and powerful enough...looks weird with the headlight though but it'll grow on me..
