Should take you.....30mins at most. As far as a knock sensor, if its a stock crx engine you have no knock sensor. If you have a newer swap its on the backside of the engine near/above the oil filter usually.

thanks, we chaNGED the cable today no biggie. the motor is a z6 mated to a 88 crx si tranny. only problem i had was those little metal clips on the top 2 screws for the piece of dash i had to remove, thgose dropped down and got lost..but the bottom 2 hold it up. but it wiggles, so i want to fix it. any tips? i will check out the knock sensor tomorrow. hard to change once located?
