Usually there is a 15-20% loss in the drivetrain. 212WHP at 15% loss is 244 BHP, at 20% loss 254BHP. So your saying the TL's drivetrain loses over 25% of its power before it approaches to the wheels? I know 270 BHP is measured with the engine out of the car and is measured at the flywheel. I think Acura is overinflating their numbers.
That goes for the S2000 as well, your saying it loses over 25% through the drivetrain? No way man.
For example, an Eagle Talon 2nd gen makes 175WHP and the factory claims 210HP at the crank, thats a 20% loss and the talon has AWD which causes a larger drivetrain loss.
No way a RWD or FWD will lose more than an AWD through the drivetrain. You said you beat a Maxima with the TL? I have seen the new Altimas beat the TL's everytime. I have seen this numorous of times and some TL owners that own an Altima amit that its faster.
