Sorry for your loss man. If you get a steady part time job I bet you could have enough for a new car in 6-12 months depending on how much you want to spend.

I've ran into the curb a few times because I was going to fast around corners in shitty conditions, and I was lucky enough to walk away with bent rims. It was enough to scare me though so now I drive much slower in the rain.

Yeah, it fucking sucks. That brings me to a question. My dad was suposed to ask our insurence, but idk if he did or not. When a car is totalled, and you get a check from insurence, (full coverage) can you still buy the car back after that? Because if you can Then id buy it back, and my dad said even if it costs more to fix than its worth we'd fix it, provided its fixable. If not, then id most likely part it out completely.

Believe me, If and when Im driving again, my driving style will change dramatically.
