great info! This is what the forum is all about!

I have to add my 2¢ to this too since I have had all 3 types listed.

My favorite set of rotors were my drilled and slotted. They were Brembo solid rotors to start which makes a big difference since they have a little more meat on them than the OEM rotors. I used them on my wifes Civic LX and the same set of rotors are still on the car to this day with zero warping, zero cracking and very little wear. We used Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads with regular DOT 3 fluid and stock calipers. It totally changed the way the car stopped. Initial bite was really good and there was no fade at all. We lived in the hills and drove it very hard on many occasions and never once had fade or overheating problems. For a Civic or Integra I strongly recommend them. I got them off of eBay from a reputable seller in 2002 and they are still performing as they did the day we got them 5 years later and almost 75k miles. I currently have slotted on my GSR and am happy with them but not as much as I was with the others. But I don't live in the hills now so they suit me well. Just wanted to share my experience...
