I'm thinking about it. I think it's a stretch, but I'm thinking about it. One Honda that might be in that category is the ITR. The Integra Type R's have held their values remarkably well, especially if you can find that that hasn't been riced out and/or abused. I don't see this Civic in that category. The performance numbers are essentially the same as the basic SI - from what I've read in more than one review. The R's give you increased performance.
You named 2 cars that I'd be looking at in that price range, along with, for 5-8 grand less, the MS3...
