I was hoping i could hear some honest pros and cons of this car, brand
Also I wont be doing any kind of modifications or alterations to the car except in the way of the audio equipment...does anyone suspect that the dvd screen would be lacking in terms of hooking up after market equipment
again thanks to anyone and all

175k-200k if
not taken care of

......500k+ with good maintenance.
The 8th gen. Civics have the new R18s and have not been on the road for very long so they don't yet have the track record that the D/B series, for instance, has. I couldn't see them being bad engines but they have a lot to live up to with the old D series or the current Ks.
A couple things not so great.....they are really heavy....if I remember correctly they are like 2800-2900 lbs.....if they were as heavy as the 6th gens, they'd be getting like 30/40 mpg. Honda autos have always been lackluster slushboxes...I'd go with a manual.
Good: Honda learned from their mistake called the 7th generation Civic

.....joke. But seriously they changed the front suspension on the 7G civics and it was a bad choice. Leaking, fast wearing shocks and springs and less then stellar handling even for a economy compact. They went back to the double wishbone front suspension....excellent choice in my opinion.
