I am looking into a newer car, stuck between a subie wrx and a civic si but thats another story. I test drove an 08' Si and it seemed to have less smooth shifting around 3rd gear, not the car but the shifter seemed like I had to jam it in to gear. I have heard that they are known to have a sticky third gear which seemed to be the case with the one I test drove. I don't think I am going for an 08' either way, so if I were to look for a used Si is there a better year to look for? I don't want anything too old, I'm coming from 95 civic as it is so something newer then 00' would be nice. I've seen a few 06's around me, did they have the same problems as the 08's? Gotta find a nice one otherwise Subie turbo is gonna get the best of me
