You give up too easily. You should have never sold that Civic, and shouldnt sell the teg. Forget about the money, its a hobby, not an investment. Spend as your finances allow you to- if it takes 3 years to build the car, so be it.
If you sell the car, I've got $20 that youre carless for another 2 years just like after you sold the civic.
