No the b1 was a US engine. Neither the b1 or b7 have vtec... I called a salvage yard today, they claimed the b1 and b7 are completely deferent engines, that the intakes and the exhaust mannys are deferent..

I dont know I'll do some more searching around.. They didn't convince me..
