9:1 seems to be the best compression ratio to maintain spooling power while safely boosting.

You haven't stated which engine or which piston brand you have so it's hard to say if you can push to 15 psi. At 15 PSI with stock sleeves I don't think your engine could handle it for too long unless you have a killer tune.

I'd suggest looking into some quality forged piston brands rather then EBAY junk. I have 9:1 Forged Custom Pistons. I think they cost around 500 for the set. Good luck.
