I've never had the warning lights come on like that before... but my Del Sol has H.I.D's... I've had some pretty bad wiring problems because of them. The ones I bought were $350 lights too; not ebay knock off's. When you have H.I.D. set ups you have to watch out how you install them. DO NOT, whatever you do, DO NOT splice wires when doing so. Always get the kits that go directly into your housing. Splicing wires can cause all sorts of wiring issues, making the car act funny. Hence the warning lights being shown. I don't understand why the ABS or anything would be coming on. Were wires touching? Is there anything wrong with the car now? If stuff like that keeps happening, I'd check your wiring.
Because H.I.D.'s require more power to light up, the wiring has a tendency not to be able to withstand that power. The wiring tends to melt or break down. Just be cautious. If nothing is going wrong now, the car should be fine. I'd double check everything. Under the dash, in the relay under the hood.. everything. Fuses... everything. Just to make sure none are blown and no wires are melted or burned.
