Rear mounting a turbo wouldn't be for maximum performance.
Log mani's spool faster than tubular manifolds but they choke faster.
The farther away from the combustion chambers the turbo sits the more lag it will have. Also the longer charge pipe is the more lag you should expect.
In the case of a TT vette, it may help somewhat since both turobs may be capable of getting ALL the exhaust force... depending on the setup, but realisticly the same conditions apply. The closer the turbo is to the original combustion the more force will be exerted on the turbine, thus spooling it more effectively.
For Higher boost applications you would most likely still need an intercooler.
