I just dont understand how you think you can beat me. Also, alot of the reason american cars use larger displacement engines is because people like to actually feel like your going fast. They want to have some TQ in there engines. Ive riden in a low 15 second GSR and a 15 second stock mustang. The mustang felt way faster. How cool would a mustang with a 2.2 litre 4cylinder be with 11 to 1 compression and 8000 RPMs. It wouldnt be a mustang anymore. IT wouldnt have any grunt. Any low end power or TQ. My friend has an S2000. He rode in my car and he was like holy shit you will kick my ass. Then we raced and i only put like a car length on him to 100. We both plan on modding our cars. And he realizes once i start doing mods to my car he isnt going to be able to keep up. S2000s and Type Rs pretty much come maxed out from the factory, you can get a few my hp out of them. Where as my car. Gains alot of power from minor bolt ons. Especially from rear end gears(just speed). So far just from exhaust mods ive gained 25rwhp. And there are alot more bolt ons that i can do that add a good amount of power. My car is choked down from the factory it just needs to be opened up with a few mods. After my 3.73 gears install ill be in the 13s. And as far as a type R goes. If Ford took meaures to make a mustang lighter. Via, Racing seats, no A/C or powr options, Removing sound deadening, im sure they would alot faster. But then a majority of the buyers would complain and go elsewhere. The only arguement you guys have is the displacement and it gets old. If a car is slow its slow. Oh but i have more hp per litre BLA BLA BLa
