tech wrench 68mm TB actin' a fool

I have a B16 JRSC hatch and had a Skunk2 68mm TB installed and had to take it off because the idle surged horribly between 1,000-2,500 rpms.My mechanic had no clue what to do after he worked on it for a couple days.Anybody have any suggestions. Thanks

Does it have a FITV on the TB? The Edelbrock 65mm I put on mine did the same thing...it had a huge vaccum leak on the bottom. Compare your new TB to the old one. I filled my FITV ports with JB weld...it works perfect for me.
