i have a 97 civic ex w/ d16y8 and am considering adding a strut bar. does anyone know if there are any clearance issues? it looks like the map sensor may be in the way with where the throttle body is now located, which i can probably relocate since it is blocked off and now reads boost at the manifold via a vacuum line.
The one with two bars. I tried to test fit another one on there, don't remember the manufacturer at the moment, that only had one bar(one of the adjustable ones), and that didn't fit either. I suspect that the OEM SI bar would work but never tried it.

so, did it just hit the map sensor on top of the throttle body? b/c i have a block off plate w/ a vacuum line running to the manifold so that it reads boost. if i have to i can relocate that to mount directly to the manifold and block off the hole in the top of the throttle body w/ a flat plate.
