i got one and honestly it works very well but beware as it is with everything there are cheap knockoffs that break. but really for do it yourselfers this is one of those must have tools. your alternative is to drill the bitch out, re tap the hole (which is a bitch) and find a new bolt that fits (this can also be a bitch)

That won't work. That is for screws, he has a bolt.
AChase, this has actually happened to me twice. Hopefully you didn't tighten the damn thing all the way down, and have enough room to get a vise grip on the bolt. Tighten it down hard, and then slowly unscrew it out of there.
The other option is to get an Easy Out kit from sears... Its different from what Mocha907 posted in that you have to first drill a hole through the bolt, then you put the easy out into your drill, set it on reverse, stick it in the hole you drilled, and slowly reverse the bolt out. However, if I remember correctly, the shank of this particular bolt doesn't have a whole lot of diameter to it, so you won't really be able to get a good sized easy-out down there. The smaller easy outs can break from too much stress if not careful.
Once you get the damn thing out of there, have a friend drive you down to your local ace hardware or lowes or home depot, and match up the broken bolt to a GRADE 8 bolt. I've actually busted a grade 5 bolt in this same predicament so a Grade 8 will be much better. Go back home, replace, and race.

Funny shit.. This is my second time busting this bolt off, but I got it out with an easy out, guess I will have use easy out. By the way, the bolt I snapped was grade 8, I know, I KNOW. I am basically stupid but now I gotta fix that mistake, to bad their isn't enough room to get a vice grips around the broken piece.

i know what it's made for but i also know what it will work with all you have to do is drill out a divot in the bolt and then use that it works i've done it
