JR Prelude EMS Users, Hows Reliability?

Ok guys and gals, just talkin to somebody over on ****, and he's going to take the plunge on a JRSC kit, as am I in a couple months, and he was askin about the reliability and safety of the Prelude EMS (MAP/BTC) system that they include with the kit. I'd like to see how many people are running it, and see what kind of problems people run into while using it. Is it dangerous? sporatic? Whats the deal? I personally plan on getting a standalone unit, but just for kicks, I'd like to get the low down. :clap

*btw, what is with editing out site names, what a joke that is, like you guys are really competing with each other or something, for a bunch of non paying visitors, pathetic, i hope there is explanation for that*

I would stay away form the BTC and map controller. YOu will be much better off getting a Hondata s100 or s200 as it will run perfectly when properly tuned and be very reliable and make great power.

Yea, for sure imma get the real deal. One shop I may go with for tuning uses Neptune, I've heard good things about that unit, but I'm doin the install myself to save some cash, so I gotta jerry rig that biatch enough to drive it 2 miles north to Orlando. I got some good help, so I can do the install and save myself $500 or more.

Since the lude setup comes with those items, I don't see the harm in using them. Although I have no clue to the usefulness of the unit on a lude, let alone any JRSC setup since I went straight standalone.
