JRSC with stock motor mounts

I was just wondering If stock motor mounts could handle a JRSC at 8psi. I have Avid mounts now but I don't like the vibration. Also what is a good engine management for JRSC B16a. I have thought of E-manage Ultimate.

Stock motor mounts should handle it just fine, but you might get some wheel hop and vibration when launching.

There are many engine managements that you can use, such as the one you mentioned, chrome, AEM EMS, Hondata, etc.

I just got done putting a set of the Energy Suspension inserts in my stock mounts and it made a huge difference in wheel hop and engine movement. The throttle response is much better and it shifts much smoother now. It vibrates a little more but you really only notice it at idle. I would suggest them if you go with stock mounts.

Not worth the extra money for the name.

the rear poly mount is the mount you realy need to help prevent wheel hope and keep a axle from breaking, the side and tranny main engine mounts can live with out the poly in them, the two torque mounts is really where you need the poly as well

Yeah man...I ran the two torque mounts for a while and they did not make much of a difference by themselvs but once I got the rear mounts insert in that was the money maker. Sure, I get some more vibration at idle but it is well worth it.

I don't know minutes but the tranny torque mount was the easiest...maybe 15 minutes tops. The one that goes on the AC mount took about 30 minutes cause I had to drop the AC. the one on the rear I put on while my head was off so it took maybe 20 min. You HAVE to pull the bracket that bolts onto the engine/trans to put the insetrs in the rear mount.

The back one is a bitch, to do it right you have to damn near pull the engine out. If you have a single cam its not that bad but a b series is hell.

All you got to do is take the top mount off by the cam gears and use a floor jack to lower the engine enough to clear it out from the fender well section. Works pretty easy. Done 2 that way.

Ok...that would work too. I am just glad that I had my head off when I did mine LOL. I was not looking forward to doing all that to get the mount insert in the rear mount.
