Kami header is for me!!!

Well guys...I installed my Kami header today with the Omnipower test pipe and what a difference it made on my car. I had a cheap 4-2-1 on there with a resonator in place of the cat and that was doing me no favors. The header I got was the 2 1/2'' downpipe and that is the one you B-series guys need. I had no fitment problens but the flange from the Kami was different than the flange on the JDM sized Omni test pipe. A quick trip to the local exhaust was the fix for that. The header looks very well built and sturdy. I know their reputation is bad for quality but for me I give them an A+. The butt dyno notices a big difference (maybe 10-15 hp???) and we will have to see what the real dyno says one of these days. Just an FYI for you guys.

The Kami header that I am talking about is taylor made for cars with a higher power JRSC setup on them. There have been questions of fitment and quailty that have been dicussed in the supercharger forum. I wanted to talk about my dealings with Kamikaze parts on my car. I don't just put crazy posts in the wrong areas...........

Actually I ordered it online and I got the option of the LS engine header with the 2.5 inch outlet. Some lady called soon after that and told me that they had to specially build it fo me so it would take some time to get it to me. So..I was nervous considering their rep for bad quality. I guess I just got lucky or they are better than they were in the past.
BTW/FYI: I am hopefully going to stuff my Crower 402T FI cams in this weekend and get her back on the dyno early in the week. We will see what happens............
