Me at the Dyno.....no tech stuff here...just bringing some life to the forum
Well kids...Yes, I know this is in the dyno sticky too...but I added some things
This is an LS on 10 psi tuned with Hondata and RC 440s. I am also using the LHT intercooler. As you all may noticed I did not get my goal of 215 whp. However, I can work with this just fine. I can't believe how hard this thing pulls now. Even with the LSD it is hard to catch traction in first. I guess the ES 100s need to go. The torque curve is just so damn flat. So, while it makes 206 whp, it is the 173 ft/lbs that throw you back and boy does it. The nice thing is that 150 of those ft/lbs are available @ 2500.I was not able to rev it up as high as I had hoped but it is the stock cams that did me in there. There was no point reving the piss out of it and we set the rev limiter to 7200
Jim Helbing@ Motorvations Motorsports in Trussville, AL did the tuning and what a great tuner he is. Hell...the base map he made up made 199 WHP on the first run. But, I guess when you specialize in Honda/Acura JRSC/turbo stuff you get good after a while. He does NA work too. If you want a build/work done/tuning, I highly recommend him. Lastly..she idles better than stock and part throttle is wonderful. The A/F ratio line is really flat too. Thanks Jim!!!!!!!!!
Hey pickle, what intake is that your running? I still have stock LS intake arm and have been thinking of getting something else. Also, im looking to up the boost with an MVM stepper pulley too, which size did you get from Jim for 10psi?

It is just a Autozone 3'' short ram with a K&N filter on it. I had to chop the short ram tube, so I saw no reason to get a nice one. I think doing that would help you alot. As far as the 10 psi goes...I get 10 with the standard MVM stepper and a CRV crank pulley, HOWEVER....I have the LHT manifold and that is good for a ~2psi loss due to the larger plenum area. the pulley configuration I run is good for about 12 psi on a JR manifold. Jim told me his stepper would get like 9ish psi on a JR manifold. He also has some 3'' blower pulleys for sale and I THINK these are good for another 1.5 psi if I remember rightly. I would say to call him. He is very helpful over the phone. Good luck!!!

Yeah...that sucks...well you could always get Hondata or the like with bigger injectors and tune for a higher PSI.....then at SMOG time you could put the stock ecu back in with the stock injectors...maybe? That is the reason I am keeping my stock stuff.
