milage

hey i got my new job and i am getting the money in . i want to SC my 98ex with JRSC but is 115,000 miles to high to be boosting. i keep getting mixed answers.

that was my argument to everyone that said the motor will blow apart. lol i said as long as its still good and compression is fine and has a good average they itll be fine. how do you do a leak down test. i already know how to do compression check.

Wrong. Thats a wet test as compared to a dry test that you normally do. A leak down test needs to actually have air into the compression chamber to see where and how much air is leaking. That is why its called a leak test.

for a leakdown test you need shop air pressure(110-150psi) and a hose adapter that fits into each spark plug. listen for leaks on each cylinder, as well as use a air pressure gauge to determine leakage. find and repair.

Again, adding oil to the compression test is not a leak down test. It is just a wet test vs dry test.
