Need Serious Help!!

Okay here is the skinny on it. I have another post about having low Idle and I think I have found what it's being caused by.

In the picture below, the sensor that I have circled, might be bad. How do I check to see if it is? Also what is it called. Sorry if I am a realy noob at Superchargers.

Right now it is run to a relay. When I connect the relay to power it kicks on the check engine light and idles fine but the SC runs like crap and I lean out big time. With it off the SC boosts up great and fuel is fine except for when I am at a stop the idle drops to 100 - 200 rpms and sometimes the car dies.

Currently it is running to a Ripault RELH45b connector with a Hella relay.

To sum it up....

What is that sensor called? How do you guys have it hooked up? Would just replacing that relay solve my problem. What other relay could I use in place of the ripault/hella one? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

That's the craptastic JR pressure sensor, or whatever the hell they called it. Replace that with the JR Map Controller and all of your problems will likely be solved, or at least minimized. The only real way to solve them permanently is to go standalone.

After looking at how it is installed... it sits between the map sensor and throttle body. I already have a missing link installed.

So if I was to get the map controller it would eliminate my missing link and the relay to the pressure sensor?

Yeah... there's nothing on ebay right now. If I can't find one soon I might just go buy it new from JR.

What type of management would you reccommend? Would it fix my idle too?
