Question regarding pulleys

Hi,

So I`m on my way installing SC on Civic 97 D15Z6 (yes it is D15Z6 europe car) Thinking of putting on bigger blower pulley.

What I have: SC from D16Y8 at least It looks like that one... Upgraded JRSC 6,2 crank pulley, SC has 3,8 pulley.

This all goes to 3 rib belt setup, now I`m wondering stock setup W/O SC has 4 ribs, as I find out in the net, so maby I could go to 4 rib SC setup, ok I understand I have to use stock crank pulley then.

So the question is, why JRSC with boost upgrade goes to 3 ribs, not to 4, and if I could get custom blower pulley for 4 ribs, will it be worth it ???

Both the stock and boost upgrade pulleys have 3 ribs. A 4 rib pulley most likely won't fit.

You want a smaller blower pulley to up boost or a bigger crank pulley. My A6 kit has a 4 rib blower pulley but it only came with a 3 rib belt because the A6 has a 3 rib alt pulley. I have already upgraded the crank to a Y7/8 crank which is 4 rib so all I would need is the alt pulley to make it a full 4 rib setup. There is plenty of room but on some other civics its close to the MC. So if you got room go for it.
