Starting issues

Hey hope you guys can help. Just threw a jackson on my b16a2 and after 1000km's, it's now having problems starting. You have to crank it for 20-30 seconds then it runs rough for a second and works fine... drives perfect down the highway. Have AEM rail, FPR, and a cartech FMU if that matters. Idle pressure is set at 47 pounds... any help would be GREAT.

Plugs look fine, they're brand new... car ran like a top untill I put the charger, and all the fuel accesories on. I figure it's fuel, but am unsure where to start... should I change orifice size in the AEM regulator? Or any tips on a basic setting for the Cartech FMU?

actually I second thought my answer, lets start with inatke leaks
take some carb and choke cleaner and spray it near the sc, where it meets the head (do this while the cars running) if the motor bogs or dies, I say you have a gasket leaking

You know...I put in an AEM FPR and it has done the same thing ever since...if you crank it for 5 seconds...wait 5 and crank again it should fire right up...that is if it is the AEM causing the problem...I wonder if that is what it is...I might have the wrong orfice in mine. I did not get the extra ones with mione cause I bought it used......

So here's my new diagnosis... has to be loading itself up with fuel... car sat for a week, fired right up. Drove it for 30 mins, shut it off. 45 minutes later it takes alot of cranking to get it going... any ideas on what I should be doing? I've play with the AEM FPR and the Cartech FMU but can't find a setting that makes any difference.
