Mods: AEM cold air intake, DC headers, Greddy Evo exhaust, Skunk2 intake manifold.

supercharged 2000 prelude type sh

supercharger vs. turbo?
who has supercharged their prelude and how did it turn out??
what is a good supercharger i could get used/new for low costs.

The only SC is JRSC for the Prelude.

A lot of work/knowlage to Turbo a SH with out loseing ATTS.

which is why i'd rather supercharge it. 1. daily driver 2. less work/easier
how much can i get a used sc for?

still goes for 2k
You have to change the belt every 10k miles or so.

not trash talkin you but thats bs, i do see the sc's being 2-3k new, but i have a friend who runs a shop who bought a used supercharger for $700 online and it worked out great for him... I just cant find it! haha.

Might be one of those once in a life time deal. But to get a complet kit it will run you about that munch. It was a number that you give and take, but it's sill going to be up there.

$700 for a SC is questionable. Its a hit and miss on whether or not you are getting a good one. Used ones for other kits still sell for well over a grand easily.

10k for th ebelt is a long time. Although its possible for it to last that long, I'd check it more often.
