TECH HELP w/ oil coolers

TECH HELP w/ oil coolers

I need some info quick about oil coolers. I was looking to get one from Jackson but they are mucho expensive. Well I found a B&M oil cooler for cheap!!! BUT it just doesnt look as nice as the JR. Also, the JR comes with more little parts.

Is it worth the extra money to go with JR????

Is the oil cooler even worth it?

Help me out guys.

I have been looking into the same thing, I head that the B&M is the best (value for price) that any honda can get. I am probably going to end up with it.

get a summit catalog. They have a nice one for $100. if you live in an area where it gets cold in the winter, make sure you get one with a thermostat.

The B&M kit is ok and will last for a little while. It does have rubber hoses and just connects to the fittings with screw clamps. I had a Mocal cooler that is very nice and then plumbed it with Aeroquip braided hoses and AN fittings. You will also need a Thermostatic control valve so that the engine wont get too cool and then the VTEC wont work. Also, do yourself a favor and get a remote oil filter with the cooler. This whole setup will cost you around $250 and you will have to put it all together but it is well worth it.
