if you got the money, get a hondata... if not a V-AFC might work... bottom line is you need professional dyno tuning.

im sorry you wasted your money on the vortech kit... good luck getting it running right.

The VAFC should be able to tune it but I am curious as to why you are running rich. What else do you have on the vehicle besides the kit, the VAFC and the manifold? Also at what rpm are you running rich. Did you upgrade the injectors from the 310's that come with the kit?

CSU, why do you think he waisted his money?

hAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA OMG that was funny, I didn't wana say anything I just wanted to aviod this post, but i came in and now I can't stop laughing.

BTW alot of people claim running 13s w/vortec w/o anything major, but no vids of it. I don't know maybe we're being too hard on vortec, but I still don't like their power curve.

Actually a guy has ran a 12.9 with a aftercooled system at 8 psi and 24" slicks with some other bolt ons but no engine work. Are you guys that hesitant that you have to see video's where as with a JRSC you believe someone when they don't even show a timeslip? If you are in the Southern Cal area go to Cal Speedway on Saturday for street legals and you will see Si's with no engine work hitting 13's on street tires. There should be at least 5 or 6 of them out there.

When have I ever "believe someone when they don't even show a timeslip [with a jrsc]?" I know what a jrsc is capable of. With what I have and my driving skills I can probably only pull off low-mid 14s. But I also know that it probably can hit 13s if driven properly. I can't make it to the drag strip cuz its only open when I work. Plus the fact that its aftercooled its a major advantage over jrsc. BUT nothing can change vortec's power curve. Its all peak power, but remember its all about the integral.

I really don't wana make another jrsc vs vortec, so make your rebuttal to that and lets call it a thread.

It cool X-Man you have your own opinion and you posted it. Isn't that what these boards are for. I know the power curve doesn't look good on paper but when you drive one ar take a ride in one you would definitley have a second opinion. Everybody says there is no torque with a Vortech supercharger but everyone that I know with one has a problem of having too much power down low and just spinning the tires. There was one guy that I knew that was running 10 psi and a few bolt ons with 24" slicks and was still spinning those.

I really don't want to start a Vortech vs. JRSC either.
