That's what I meant by value, very rare. I wouldn't mind a cobra either, just would pick the type R first.

I wouldn't mind getting a cobra and making it as balanced as a honda. Those 4 cam V8's make peak power at 7400 rpm unlike the old pushrod engines, much more sophisticated. I'd like to see if I could actually make one of those handle. Take out some of the beef from it without making it a ricer stang with a huge aluminum wing.

Type r has 0.89 g on the skidpad while cobra has .95 g and some other sites claim 1.01 g. Which has better cornering? Is it higher the number that has better cornering or lower?

Cobra's might be cool, but I still like ITR's better.

.95g or 1.01g is better than a ENZO

stock mustangs don't handle better than a type-r

a mustang cobra R is completely different than the 03-04 cobras. the cobra R's are all motor & are actually amazing for road course handling. it depends on how the supercharged cobras are modded, but most of the time the owners just do chip, pulley, tune and go for 11's or better in the 1/4. a type r will definintely pwn a cobra at an autox, depends on which road course. an 03-04 s/c cobra does a .90 g on a skidpad.

oh, and skidpad numbers are not everything; slalom speed is equally as important.

Me too... I mean... the Type-R is cool and all, but a Cobra would blow it's doors clean off, even if it was built up...
