This is my baby, i love this car and its cost me a nice amount of coin but i havent looked back... ive wanted a GTR for years and years back when i first started really looking into imported vehicles... and now i actually have my own GTR... well enough with the jibber jabber heres some pics











and heres a mod list

Nismo Upgraded Turbos (T25/T04B Turbos with metal turbine blades rated for 600hp!, but only pushing about 350whp)

it had on it in the time of the pics genuine N1 headlights, but since they are not DOT approved i have had fabed up what is known in the skyline community as the "rockcrete" DOT headlights...

it also had a PIAA 10k HID system but it doesnt work with my new lights...

well im up in Canada so it has run me significantly less than it would in the USA with there BS 25yr rule(ours in Can is 15yrs)

i paid 17,000 for it, and have put in close to 2000 to get it road legal

new headlights, brake light, day time running lights.. inspection costs...

so i got it for a bargan, she moves good too... i had do 0-100 in what felt like NOW but was prolly around the 6-7sec mark... and that was just before putting her away for winter... i havent gotten to drive it much yet... this summer the roads are gonna be screaming when my AWD chews it up

the previous owner had it goin 240kmh, in 5th gear at 4000rpm, and its got an 8000rpm redline... although i wont take it above 6000rpm until i get a new oil pump, and a new oil pump drive shaft as it is common for those to brake after 6500-7000rpm, and if the shaft breaks the engine can explode quickly...

this was only an issue with the first 4years of the skyline after that they fixed the problem..

so to upgrade that it will cost me about 2500 since i want to get a tomei pump and shaft... mostly because they make the best, and its good to 10,000rpm...

my goal is to get 450-500whp out of the car... so i can make fun of my buddy who has pumped over 25,000 into his accord... its got an h22a turbo'd with methanol injection... hes pushing 460whp... but thats nearing the limits of his engine baring turning the car into a drag monster...

i told him right now he can prolly take me in the straights from a roll, he might depending on his ability to take me from a dig, but i told him hed get smoked in the corners ... he regretfully agreed...

since i live in a small town here in BC Canada alot of the local guys all have different rides so its really cool to actually see different rides done nicely and not have any hate going on...

Nice GT-R!!! That sucks though what you guys have to go through to get these JDM cars on your streets! Here in the Bahamas, it doesn't matter the year or anything...Once the car is imported here, you can get it licensed to drive on the streets the same day.

thanks for the compliment

thats cool about the bahama's.... but at least in Canada its minimal what you have to do to make the vheicle comply, where as in the USA you have to have OBD-II emisions system and other BS compliance mods...

my scope for the car is a weekend cruiser that i can take to the track and have good clean safe fun with it... then after a track day; or before, take it to a car show and have fun watching people drool

damn 25k into an accord and ONLY 460whp..does that include the price on the car...

I've always wanted a Skyline. maybe one day i'll go through the headache of getting one here.

no he paid 20k for the accord and then another 25k in mods.... damn drugs dealers

the car when he got it was tuned for 305whp N/A which was fast, but he wanted to turbo it, so he had to have the engine rebuilt and all the stuff done to it so the compression was lower so the engine wouldnt pop... he also did NONE of the work himself so i bet half of that 25k was labor... and the funny thing is if i put in 10k into my GTR i would leave him looking at tail lights

The LM's came with it, but i love them, and wont change them at all..

the fender flares, are stock, thats just how sexy the GTR is


as for 1/4 times i havent taken it to the track, but it would be a safe bet to assume it will go low 12's with street tires... and current boost lvl... i imagine it would do better if i turned the boost up but id have to know for sure my engine wont pop from it...

this summer i will be going to the track at least once
