well im up in Canada so it has run me significantly less than it would in the USA with there BS 25yr rule(ours in Can is 15yrs)
i paid 17,000 for it, and have put in close to 2000 to get it road legal
new headlights, brake light, day time running lights.. inspection costs...
so i got it for a bargan, she moves good too... i had do 0-100 in what felt like NOW but was prolly around the 6-7sec mark... and that was just before putting her away for winter... i havent gotten to drive it much yet... this summer the roads are gonna be screaming when my AWD chews it up
the previous owner had it goin 240kmh, in 5th gear at 4000rpm, and its got an 8000rpm redline... although i wont take it above 6000rpm until i get a new oil pump, and a new oil pump drive shaft as it is common for those to brake after 6500-7000rpm, and if the shaft breaks the engine can explode quickly...
this was only an issue with the first 4years of the skyline after that they fixed the problem..
so to upgrade that it will cost me about 2500 since i want to get a tomei pump and shaft... mostly because they make the best, and its good to 10,000rpm...
my goal is to get 450-500whp out of the car... so i can make fun of my buddy who has pumped over 25,000 into his accord... its got an h22a turbo'd with methanol injection... hes pushing 460whp... but thats nearing the limits of his engine baring turning the car into a drag monster...
i told him right now he can prolly take me in the straights from a roll, he might depending on his ability to take me from a dig, but i told him hed get smoked in the corners

... he regretfully agreed...
since i live in a small town here in BC Canada alot of the local guys all have different rides so its really cool to actually see different rides done nicely and not have any hate going on...
