Take a look....

whats up everyone, My father just passed away and I took the money that he left me, to build this car. This is my first honda ever and I really don't know a lot about The BIG H, but I have been tuning cars for a long time. I bought this ride off the forums with alot of parts and craziness in June and have spent every last dime on this car. I hope that It is up to the standards of the honda community, and If there is something that I have missed please tell me. The whole reason I am posting Is to ask for help. I need to tune my car and Make VTEC work. If anyone has thoughts please share.. Well here it goes

1998 Honda Civic EX

Extras

Full SI leathers
Greddy boost controller
Turbo Timer
MSD 6al w/ 3 step

Currently My car does not turn on vtec and if all parts of the system are connected the CEL is off but a Rev limiter hits hard right at 5000RPM and I have no power. If you unplug the Vtec valve, the car operates to my msd red line, but no vtec and honestly no power. I just completed my mini me swap and It just doesn't work. When I bought the car It had a Built D16 y8 bottom end with bad bearings So I bought a junk yard y7 for a great deal with 35k on the motor. I have great compression and Plently of spark and fuel. I have never timed a honda before and My biggest question, is the ECU smart enough to know when the belt is out a tooth and does not open VTEC? If this is unclear please Ask and I will try to explain in another way. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this, any input is welcomed. Thanks

these next few i took about 10 minutes ago...ill take better ones tomorrow in the day light.

Build a custom box into the car and have it all covered in fiberglass so it looks good back there. Dont just put one of those shitty speaker boxes in like most ppl do. It will look better and be almost impossible to steal, unless they take the whole car of course.
