Another Wedding 6-30-07

I had a blast shooting my friend Blaine's wedding as a second shooter. They had it at a nice house of one of their relatives. This is my second wedding and the photographer I work with booked one for me to do solo on Sept. 29th so I'm pretty excited. Check them out on my new site.

those are some really cool shots. i dont know much about photography...how did you acheive the effect in the above picture? i like how the background colors are "drowned" out.

He probably focused on the close images and the background was blurred which looks cool. Awesome shots!

some of them were kinda boring.. like the picture came out good but the action in the picture was just bland, nothing special ya know

but all in all your an amazing photographer, you have some really quality shots, pic #18 is probably my favorite, keep up the good work man

And do we have something "less boring" to better qualify your critique?
Naw I'm just messin with ya man. Some that a guy thinks is boring a bride will love. Call me crazy but I think about the ones paying me and not the guy on the Honda forum heh.

If you are talking about the blur that's due to shooting at a long focal length and large aperture (f2.8). For the colors you can lower the saturation to be about 30% of the original I'd say. Or just desaturate it in photoshop and then back it down under the edit menu. Don't know the exact process off my head without looking and I'm lazy. =p
