band shoot in the woods - C/C welcome

so a couple weeks ago I was approached to do some photos for two musicians for their albums and some combined shots since they're going to do some shows together. and they wanted to do some nature type shots. argh.....hello high school senior photos. but all in all I think they came out pretty good. critiques and comments welcome.

Oh, and most of these are straight out of the camera. haven't had time to do any photoshop work yet.

equipment: Nikon D50, nikkor 50mm f1.8 whenever possible. nikkor 18-200 as a stand in. Love the f1.8

we did have one indoor location that we got a few shots at.










actually have a series of everybody jumping off a picnic bench. this one was just the most amusing.

the only photo here that has seen photoshop other than to crop. had to clean up a few stray hairs

I'd say you definitely need an on-shoe flash, or strobes for the indoor shots. Also, the 2nd shot, I can tell was shot with the f/1.8, as the gal in the middle is out of focus, which sort of ruins that image in my opinion. It's a perfect lens for single person portraits, not so good when people are staggered indoors when you're trying ot get all of them. Otherwise, great photos!!
