well as some of you may know I've moved to Santa Barbara, California to attend Brooks Institute of Photography. it's beautiful out here and i have 2 weeks or so until i start classes.
but in light of the program I will be needing to buy an updated camera and I have been given an list of recommended SLRs. and because I am a student I get a nice discount at a local camera shop. well which do you guys think i should look into
Nikon
-F100
-F4
-N90
-F5
-F6
or
Canon
-EOS3
-EOS1
-EOS1n
anyone have personal preferences...opinions?..help me out guys

i've always been partial to nikons myself, but canon makes a great camera.
other than that, whichever one suits your needs the best is what you should get. ultimately, you're going to be taking the pictures

Get any Canon with an EOS mount so that you can use adapters and a wide variety of lenses.

Just don't get a shitty Nikon DSLR with Sony sensors
why not get a Canon now and when you get lenses and what not you can transfer them to your future Canon DSLR?

why would i do that? haha I'm in one of the most prestigous photography schools in the nation. better beleive they have their own darkrooms, so i develope all of my own film. for the first year or so of class I have to use 35mm and i get to learn on a 4x5 camera as well (which i have to buy soon now that I think of it)
i beleive either 2nd of thirdyear is when we learn digital.
