I was speaking to Osama about possibly getting a subsection of photography for a critique forum. For all of the photography forums i belong to I find a critique section very useful for helping improves one's photography skills
with that said I want to spearhead a thread to try and make this useful.
Here are the rules:
1# if you post a comment make sure it is useful, I don't want to see any bashing of any sort.
2# if you find something out of place in a photograph or you just don't like it, explain.
3# I don't want to see "oh it sucks, i don't like it"..ok if you don't like it explain why.
4# don't get all defensive if someone doesn't like your work, of course you can rebutal and protect you style if you see fit (god knows i do it all the time)
5# please include your equipment used and exposure settings if you have them
No one is perfect and tastes and opinions vary amongst everyone. but i think it's safe to say we know a good photograph when we see one.
I shall start it off with a photograph of mine.
