Critiques and help needed for class project

I am taking an intro to photography/Photoshop class and I need to turn to print 5 image for the final project. For our final we need to print out the image and explain how/why/what we did.
The 5 image needs to be:
1-Studio Shoot with Digital Capture Unit
2-CD Cover
3-Hand Color (change part of the color of an image)
4-Large print 11x14 or Bigger
5-Free Shot with PS work

For the Critiques, I would like you to look at the overall image quality, composition, quality of the photoshop and style of the overall image.

A
The first image take care of #5 with the free shot. I took this shot while I was in Boston a few months ago. I used the Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens taken at 10mm.
For this image I wanted to bring out the sun light so I saturated the sun spot a little bit and desaturated the color as the sun light moves out.

This one covers #3 on the project. I did not take this picture, I found it online.(the teacher said it was ok to do this). I don't really know the real story behind this but this is something that Indian women paint on there hand for a wedding. This is called Mehndi or Henna.
I desaturated the whole image and brought back the color of the designed painted on the hand using the History Brush Tool. ( I am not really done with this image, I just posted this because I posted the other one so might as well. I will post the final image when I am done, what I plan to do is to clone out the stain or whatever on the lower background of the image and maybe make the background a little bit darker.) Anything I should do?

C
The other day we did the studio shot so it takes care of #1. I didn't really know what I wanted to take so I just grab this thing that was sitting on my desk. The image came out ok, but it is boring. I can't just print an image of that figure without adding something to it. The problem is that I have no idea what to add. I have about 5 shots of this figure in different view, now I just need to make it more interesting before I print it. Any ideas? I can do just about anything that I want.

The first image is hot man. The second one is cool too. I had one photography prof that loved images where you had part in bw and part in color and I had another prof that would give an instant bad grade because she thought it was tacky. that last image is just dull. In photoshop you can always add some film grain to it and add more color you could add aroudn the edges of the image some phantom of the opra wording.
