life in a midwest college town

Some of the people got a little out of focus but I didnt want to be too obvious about me shooting their pics with a big black camera, I was shooting from the hip with the LCD screen swivled up towards me as I was walking my dog when taking these pics, so bare in mind I have a Boston tugging the leash in one hand and a camera in the other.

great start but you may want to try and get more up-front with your subjects. it should be easier for you to do so while maintaining your stealthiness since it seems like you're shooting with a non-DSLR camera (swiveling LCD, no shutter noise, etc).

as Robert Capa (one of the most famous combat photographers in history) put it, "f your photos aren't good enough, you're not close enough"
