Photos Prelude Ride of the Month | March 2004

We will be taking around five (5) applicants per months. Everyone who wants to apply can post up various pictures of their cars with different shots of the car (ie no posting 10 side shots). Post up front, side, rear, interior, and engine pictures as well as anything else you can. If your not too experienced, shoot early morning or when the sun is going down & just be sure to get the whole car in the shot and make sure the horizon is level. Also a good tip , remove the license plate , so you dont have to edit it out and makes for a cleaner look. Unless you have special plates , something that matches or needs to be seen.

Out of all the applicants the moderators will choose the five for the month. Applications must be turned in by February 21st. Voting will go from February 23rd to February 29th.

To apply please include the following.
Vehicle Info: Quick info about your car. Username / Year / Vehicle / Color / Stats & if turbo - super - nitrous - N.A.
Pictures: (described above) anyone who posts up pictures that are not appropriate will be dealt with harshly
Modifications: (Interior, Exterior, Suspension, Engine, Sound & Waxes or products used)
Quick Biography of the car: - how it came to be and problems you've had along the way

This is ONLY for Posting your Car! For photo hosting , please use superhonda http://www.superhonda.com/photopost/ Do not use outside image hosts , especially if they have image tags.

If anyone has any questions, comments, or suggestions PLEASE post them in the Prelude of the month: Comments and Questions.

The prize and the applicants that are chosen will be announced at an unspecified time - sometime before the vote takes place.

Biography
I've had the car for about 3 years. It began its life as an automatic...transmission went rather quickly after it was supercharged, and then the transmission was swapped to manual with upgrades. The car was tuned by Hondata and is the basemap provided in Hondata's big boost set of tunes for the the Prelude. This car was also the test fitter for Hytech's new H22 header and exhaust series. It will be a beta tester for a new carbonfiber roof plug in the weeks to follow. The interior is currently being converted to full black with red Bride cloth inserts, and I'm currently on a waiting list for a road race cage to be fabricated.

I've been a member here for several years, I just seem to lurk more than post

Biography:

I bought my 99 prelude in the year 00 brand new for a tremendous deal. I chose milano red since red is a "sporty" color and didn't see too many modified red preludes in California at the time. Most were black/silver/white. I have always been intrigued with speed and handling of automobiles. So excited about my new car, I started modifying it to please my needs. I have always been fascinated with speed and handling...and not so much with looks. So most of my mods are unseen to you viewers. I started modifying the intake and exhaust, and quickly moved into my suspension. Once I was satisfied with my suspension set up, I quickly upgraded my brake pads/fluid and lines to handle the increased speeds through the straights. I then bought some rims/tires after my stock tires wore down. I am sure I don't have "the fanciest" prelude on this site, but all the mods on the car are my favorite. I call it more or less an ALL GO car.

i got this one when i wrecked my red one. this one was previously owned by a supreme ricer who equipped it with altezzas, chrome wheels, windshield washer LED's, single wiper conversion, and a few other things. so the very same day i bought it we removed all that stuff and replaced it with my old goodies. now i bought these rims to retain the stock look and the red part will be painted gunmetal or black to make them look a lot better. not really much to say about this one except it has less miles and more problems then my red one. that is all, good day

I got this car because i wrecked my other lude. When i first got this car i told myself that i wasnt going to do anythign to it. Well that changed the moment i felt the power of a 5 spd. A couple weeks ago i was convinced by Shaun Torrente owner of NRG performance, to do a custom turbo kit for my car. This wont be for a few summers, but i can tell you right now its gonna be pretty awesome. Thats pretty much it. VOTE FOR ME...hahaha

Biography:
Well, this actually isnt my first lude. I bought a 2000 PPW auto lude on my 17th bday with money i had saved up. After about a year the transmission started to die. Luckily enough my friend who works at a honda dealership callled me and told me about a very nice lude that came in that day. I took a trip to the dealership and ended up trading in my old lude and buying the new one. I liked my old lude but i love this new one even more.

I bought my lude brand new in the summer of 01 when i was a freshman in college. Went through the "rice" phase with body kits and such. Now i'm trying to keep my lude clean and simple. I dont plan to have a very fast lude, just enough power to play with.
