It's hard because I don't know your taste in food. But if you like "normal" fish like yellow tail, tuna, mackeral, etc. you should be OK. They might have shell fish on hand like abalone, scallops, etc. but I might pass that up for a first meal if I had any hesitations.

I'm not really into otcopus, sea urchin, squid, etc. so I'm not a good judge on those pieces.

Don't go crazy with the soy sauce & wasabi. Dip and eat the entire sushi in one or two bites.

Rolls are good too. Spicy tuna or a good Calif. Roll is always tastey.

thanks for the advice. we tried something called the mexican and something called the florida. the mexican had cooked shrimp and avocado. the florida was basically the same, but was wrapped in eel. we didnt really like the florida. we also had spicy tuna salad which was our favorite...so thanks for the suggestions.

id rep, but must spread....

I love the fatty tuna (there are 3 different types) and yellowtail. Yeah octopus is scary. Especially after I saw that one eat the shark

I like Unagi (sp?) here and there . I love the sauce...

Unaginigiri = for me.

For some reason I can't get into the eel foods. But props to you if that's your thing.

Tuna & shrimp are my basic foods.
