Red face Coca-cola Blak

It's an interesting drink. Not bad but not great.
It tastes like Arizona bottled iced cappucino with carbonation.

A couple of weeks. I first heard of it when Ryan Seacrest was holding a bottle of it on American Idol.

Hmm cool... How does it compare with regular coke? I mix Coke with Hershey's Chocolate Syrup sometimes... Pretty good :O

Browsing Slickdeals... I found this:

Regular Coke tastes better. It comes in an 8 oz. bottle. You really can't guzzle it like other sodas. It's not that good/refreshing.

is that really the bottle in the pic above?

I've never seen a bottle. If it is, the text says it's pronounced blAk like the name "Blake" instead of the color "black"

I wonder what they were thinking when they made that pic?

*edit nvm

I saw the logo on their website. that line above the "a" is supposed to be the Coke swoosh symbol and look like a "short vowel" symbol

I had a twist-off plastic cap, not a metal bottle cap.

some specialty stores do carry coke w/ metal caps. it's more expensive & uses sucrose instead of high fructose corn syrup. incidentally, soda made w/ cane sugar (how it was originally made), makes soda made w/ HFCS seem like sewer water by comparison.

Hmmm... I saw this the other day but passed on it in favor of my regular drink (Diet Pepsi or Coke). Maybe I'll give it a try.

I think the smallish size of the bottle detered me. Usually I sip on a 1 liter so the difference in volume was a factor for me.

sodas are just sugar and water, quit disturbing you would drink 1 liter of that on a regular basis. the last time i drank soda was mixed with rum and even that was with hesitation.

and this new blak stuff looks like its gonna tank like coca-cola's other endeavors. i dont see any real interest for it.

coke blak is not really a soda drink, well at least that's what the dude at 7-11 told me. It's like an energy drink hence forth the near $2 price tag on a small and thin bottle. It's actually not that bad, but i woldn't goulp it, it has a very strong taste. It's like soda and coffee............not a bad taste, not a good taste......well it's just interesting.
