What is this cake?
Hi all, last month I just went to sydney, and I bought a cake with what looks like a pure one piece mango in the centre. I forgot where I bought it, but the bakery is in china town near UTS (anybody live in OZ should know). The thing is, I would like to replicate that cake recipe but I have no luck finding it on the net, maybe SHOers can name that cake for me...
Here's a short description, the outer skin is made out of what looks like a cold crepes, the center comprise of what looks and tastes like a whole mango without any added sugar, with cream and a piece of white bread (probably to neutralize the taste).
It looks very simple, and maybe it is... Too simple that probably it's an original creation. It is very fresh and have a great taste too.
