i'm chewing down on a Pemmican Premium cut peppered beef jerky. the reason why i like it is because it's tender. i hate, with all of my heart, those hard jerky. I liked the oberto peppered one too but it's a hit and miss to getting a bag full of tender pieces. the small bags in the vending machines tend to be softer.
it seems to be a tradition of mine to grab a bag of pemmican peppered before a road trip so i can munch on it while i drive. any other jerky you guys like? if it's tender and peppered let me know so i can give it a try.

Pacific Gold (from Costco) is my favorite packaged Jerky. I have a dehydrator that makes pretty good jerky too, but my favorite is the home smoked kind you can buy at event booths. I hope to get a smoker someday so I can make my own.
BTW, there's a really good deal on small bags of jerky from Oberto. 59 cents per bag! Shipping is $9 though, so it only makes sense if you are going to buy alot.

I'm not a big fan of beef jerky. I had this kangaroo meat jerky and rattlesnake meat jerky. It was okay. I like Tabasco-spiced Slim Jims. It gives me super bad gas.
